The Skills Show is an annual event designed to inspire young people and raise their aspirations. Young people will be able to:
- Meet top employers and talk to industry reps
- Have a 'bite-size' taster of a new skill, trade or profession
- Speak to experts about skills, careers, Apprenticeships and education
- See and meet reps from colleges, universities and learning providers from across the UK
Who can visit?
- School and college students 8-18
- Young adults 19-24
- Those not in education, employment or training (NEET)
- Teachers and careers guidance professionals
- Parents, carers and family groups
- Community and youth organisations
The Skills Show will be held at the NEC Birmingham, 15-17 November 2012. It's free to get in.
Large groups should pre-book. There may also be an opportunity for those taking 100 or more young people to get a travel bursary. See the event brochure for more information.
