Being a parent is not easy and sometimes parents need additional advice and support. This is especially true as children make the transition to becoming teenagers.
In response to this, Bolton Safeguarding Children Board, in partnership with Julian Jordan Ltd has developed the 'Learning to Live with your Teenager' handbook.
The handbook aims to offer useful hints and tips to parents about a whole range of issues which may affect their children as they move towards becoming a teenager and an adult. It also signposts parents to additional parenting support resources.
Currently copies of the handbook are being distributed through local secondary schools, with the aim to ensure the parents of current 11/12 year olds have access to a hard copy.
The Board recognises that the information in the handbook is useful to all parents of teenagers and is now available to download from this website by clicking here.
