What I stood for at elections:
I stood for election as a myp to improve the view and stereotype that people have of young people and try to change how the media present us.
What I’ve done since being a member of Youth Parliament:
• Attended a meeting with Peter Fahy Chief of Manchester Police to discuss safer communities
• Became a member of Cash panel funding and prompting Youth Groups.
• Helped run and organise a health event for schools.
• Promoted the launch of the boxes in Bolton
• Visited Youth Clubs and Schools
• Attended Children Trust Meetings
• Been interviewed on Bolton FM
• Attended a Cash Panel Residential in order to be trained on things for example, to allocate money fairly.
• Attended the Annual Sitting in Canterbury to be trained on different things such as communicating with different and marginalised groups. Imputing on the manifestos’ for Youth Parliament on areas such as combating knife crime.
